In today\u2019s development landscape, resource mobilization is not just important \u2014 it is essential. It enables organizations to move beyond dependency, strengthen internal <\/a>systems, and drive long-term, community-led solutions. For grassroots actors serving vulnerable populations, the ability to attract, manage, and sustain resources is what determines the depth and durability of their impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is in this spirit that The Bakhita Initiative -JDPC Sokoto<\/a>, alongside representatives from Save The Child Initiative (STCI), Freedom For Life Initiative (FFLI), and Young Useful Generation Initiative (YUGi), took part in a two-day Capacity Strengthening Training on Resource Mobilization from June 19 \u2013 20, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was championed by CAFOD<\/a> and Caritas Nigeria<\/a>, and facilitated by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training deepened participants\u2019 knowledge in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\u2714\" Donor mapping and engagement<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\u2714\" Proposal writing and grant management<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\u2714\" Local fundraising and sustainability strategies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\u2714\" Organizational readiness and resource accountability<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to empowering local actors to take ownership of their missions and drive community transformation with confidence and competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
