The Catholic Diocese of Sokoto has launched a tree-planting initiative to promote environmental sustainability. Organized by the Bakhita Initiative (JDPC Sokoto), the ceremony took place at St. Patrick’s Illela Parish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was graced by the presence of Very Rev. Fr. Nuhu Iliya, Vicar Administration, and JDPC staff members. Students from St. Patrick’s Schools Illela actively participated in the exercise, which aimed to combat desertification and restore nature to its former glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
